Cooperative Institute for Climate Application and Research (CICAR).

Columbia University is hereby requesting the reupdateal of the agreement to maintain the Cooperative Institute for Climate Applications and Research (CICAR) for a period of an additional five years beginning July 1, 2008. In support of this request, the proposal summarizes CICAR achievements in the past five years, lays out a research plan for the extension period, and provides a budget projection consistent with this plan to concentrate in five research foci consistent with the NOAAs Research Plan for the years 2008-2013. This supplement will also strengthen the collaboration between Columbia University and minority serving institutions (MSIs) supported by NOAA under the Education Partnership Program (EPP) Cooperative Science Centers.
