Description
Dr. Samuels seeks to determine the mechanisms underlying the neurogenesis-dependence of the antidepressant response. He will use a genetic mouse model of tissue-specific serotonin 1A heteroreceptor deficiency to test for potential alterations in the response to fluoxetine (Prozac).
