will use mouse models of maternal immune activation, a prenatal risk factor for development of schizophrenia in offspring. She will study effects on neuronal circuits related to cognition and working (short-term) memory, seeking to identify a relationship between maternal immune activation and development of prefrontal cortex neurons in the offspring.
