Project Details
Description
Political scientist Alexander Hertel-Fernandez will study preferences for, and attitudes toward, new forms of labor organization. He will conduct a nationally-representative online survey of 4,000 workers and 2,000 managers to better understand how respondents perceive problems in their workplace. The survey will include a series of conjoint experiments to unpack the features of hypothetical organizations that workers and managers might support—including the types of labor organizations that workers might voluntarily support with contributions of wages and time.
