Automated clinic blood pressure assessment and detection of white coat and masked hypertension study in African Americans

The way that blood pressure is being measured in clinical practice may lead to the misdiagnosis of hypertension. This study will examine among African Americans how well a new approach for measuring blood pressure in the clinic identifies hypertension status outside the clinic.
