Description

This research project consists of three empirical papers in Financial Accounting. The first paper examines the effect of intangible capital on firms’ capital structure. The second paper seeks to better understand how managers adjust information disclosure under reduced shareholder monitoring. The third paper is about the motivation behind shareholder proposals from union pension funds.
