Project Details
Description
The aim of this proposal is to understand brain mechanisms responsible for the cognitive
regulation of emotion. Since many psychiatric disorders, like anxiety and mood disorders
as well as schizophrenia, autism, and addiction, involve cognitive dysfunction mediated
by neural circuits in the brain areas under study, this project promises to provide new
insights about neural network function critical for developing new treatments.
