Project Details

Description

Subjects with T1D benefit from this research, especially those with early nephropathy. Over the course of the disease, advanced nephropathy can lead to renal failure. Here, we show that RAGE plays a role in such advancement and thus targeting RAGE may be useful to prevent devastating nephropathy and renal failure.
