Description
This grant provides partial support for a symposium that will explore potential changes in dental education and practice required to help dentists incorporate approaches to chronic medical diseases and manage the oral health of populations by collaborating with new dental and medical professionals. The two-day symposium, co-funded by the Kellogg Foundation, will invite members of dentist and dental hygiene professionals, dental education organizations, and other dental education and dental health care communities. The grantee plans to publish the proceedings.
