Description

Project Narrative This project will examine the effects of long term direct locus coeruleus (LC) stimulation on amyloid and tau pathology, synaptic plasticity, and memory in Alzheimer’s disease (AD). AD is a common neurodegenerative disease and poses an immense burden on society. The results of the proposed project will contribute to the knowledge base and will likely lead to novel AD therapeutics that involve the LC.
