Abstract
This chapter presents a case study that a patient with well-controlled type 1 diabetes mellitus is seen for periodontal and prosthodontic care. The dentist is concerned about proper patient management during dental treatment, and in particular avoidance of hypoglycemia. The chapter presents medical history, dental history and history of the current problem, and treatment for the patient.
