Abstract
Mosaicplasty is a recently introduced method for autologous osteochondral transplantation for focal chondral or osteochondral lesions that promises restoration of original hyaline cartilage. Recently reported series with medium-term follow-up evaluation have reported encouraging clinical results. With careful attention to technical details and appropriate indications, mosaicplasty provides a viable option for treatment of articular cartilage lesion.
