Resumen
To be treated with dignity, to be seen, is what plants the seeds of empowerment. This is the foundation on which the Reproductive Justice movement is based. It is an outcome when racism is deconstructed and healthcare ensures reproductive autonomy. Birthing provides an opportunity to foster a woman’s and her family’s sense of empowerment that can have lifelong effects.
