Détails sur le projet

Description

Project Narrative Activities required for daily living usually involve planning and executing long sequences of movements, which are orchestrated through interactions between a large group or cortical and sub-cortical brain structures. Unfortunately, the ability to perform such movement sequences is significantly compromised as a result of neurological disease and/or injury (e.g., Parkinson’s, dystonia, and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, etc.). This project aims to understand the neural computations and mechanisms of three key brain regions, including their interactions, which drive movements over long timescales.
