Description
Project narrative:
Patients with end-stage congestive heart failure are increasingly treated with mechanical circulatory support,
which unfortunately leads to high rates of hemorrhagic strokes. This study will examine the biological effects on
the brain of patients treated with non-pulsatile mechanical circulatory support.
