Résumé
Prolongation of allograft survival by donor treatment prior to transplantation has a sound experimental base and has had promising early clinical results. We report the effects of pretreatment with cyclophosphamide, antilymphocyte globulin (ALG), and graft perfusion on rat heart allograft survival and passenger lymphocyte depletion and the results of cyclophosphamide and methylprednisolone pretreatment on T-cell function in cadaveric human heart donors.
