Differences in morbidity, mortality, and life expectancy between African-Americans and white Americans are well known, as are reduced disease-specific mortality rates among certain religious groups whose lifestyle practices protect them from various risk factors. This manuscript specifically, looks at the health values and practices among African-Americans Seventh-Day Adventist.
